A firefighter in full turnout gear was knocked unconscious Tuesday night after hitting her head on a concrete block during a fire drill on Butler County Community College’s main campus, according to a spokesman for the college. South Butler School Board vote

The South Butler School Board faced a full house at their Wednesday night meeting, where they voted to contract with current transportation contractor W. L. Roenigk when the current transportation contract expires at the end of this school year.

W.L. Roenigk drivers, clad in their yellow work shirts, attended Wednesday night's South Butler School Board meeting, where the board voted to retain the company for transportation services rather than consider another contractor.
