Eric Simonsen attended the county commissioners meeting on Wednesday to share his concern about the lack of staff at the facility in Slippery Rock where he lives.

Harold Aughton/Butler Eagle: Volunteers from Butler County joined representatives from the PA Fish Commission to stock Thorn Creek, Wednesday. The statewide 2019 Mentored Youth Trout Day begins Saturday, April 6. According to the PA Fish Commission website, youth under the age of 16 can join a mentor (adult) angler who has a current fishing license and trout permit to fish stocked trout waters.
