The Ultimate Chipper 2019 held on Saturday at Crossfit Recreate in Butler Township. The sold-out event saw 120 Crossfit enthusiasts take on the fitness routine known as Wesley's Workout of the Day to raise money for CureSearch for Children's Cancer Research. The 2nd annual event was held in memory of Wesley Zablocki, 11, who died from bone cancer in 2015. Zablocki's parents, Nikki and Ted, are members of Recreate Crossfit. Ted Zablocki, father of the late Wesley Zablocki, participates in the Ultimate Chipper 2019 in memory of his son.
