South Butler Primary School principal Greg Mandalas followed through on a pledge to get slimed Friday in front of students. The sliming was a part of a rewards assembly for the culmination of the school's read-a-thon program. Firefighter Gary McCormick helped Jack steady the nozzle. Washing the tires of new trucks is a tradition stemming from the days when fire wagons were pulled by horses."
