Shirley McCauley of Slippery Rock works on a potter's wheel project during an open studio session at the Butler Art Center on Main St. in Butler Thursday evening. Starting this month, the center will host open studio time Wednesday through Friday from 4 to 9 p.m. The program is one of a number of art offerings from the organization. For a monthly fee participants can have access to the studio three nights a week. The center also offers courses and other programing. Seb Foltz/Butler
