The pole was knocked down when a customer accidentally hit it while backing up in a pickup truck. No one was injured but electrical service was lost for about 30 minutes in most of the township.

Dan Ishman of South Buffalo Township, with the help of two West Penn Power workers, recovers the damaged cap from the parking lot at the True Value store on Route 356 in Buffalo Township. The cap was knocked off Ishman's pickup after he backed up the truck and hit a utility pole. He was at the store to pick up lumber. No one was injured but electrical service was lost for about 30 minutes in most of the township.
