"Employees of Monte Cello’s Restaurant along Route 19 in Cranberry Township noticed a patch of grass ablaze Tuesday afternoon and quickly extinguished it. Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company responded to the call around 1:15 p.m. and assisted restaurant workers. By the time township police arrived on-scene, the fire was out. Fire department officials suspect the incident was caused by a discarded cigarette butt, according to department administrative assistant Amy Behun. The cause is not known for sure."
